One Less
OVERVIEW
One Less is a personal project I have been developing with a couple of good friends. The system combines the benefits of reusable cups with a loyalty program, facilitated by a unique QR code printed on the bottom of every cup. We call them loyalty cups.
When a person uses their One Less cup at a cafe with the system, their QR code is scanned and stats recorded. These stats include the number of single-use cups they have saved from landfill, the embodied energy saved, how many uses until their next reward and coolest of all, the number of uses left until they have completely offset their cup.
